Okay - this confirms the poor construction of Nexgrill grates. At least

I doubt they screen the calls. I still can't get through - have my

those that are not 100% "solid" stainless steel. These particular grates

office phone set to auto- redial. It tries every sixty seconds until it

are the only parts on my grill NOT solid 304 stainless, they are clad

doesn't get a busy signal. I can't believe it's been busy since 11:00am

with 304ss. The picture below is the grate over my IR searing burner

this morning! Wow - they've got serious problems!

I returned from Maine to find the (3) grates had been delivered Monday
|

|
(to my shop). That was only four days! My card had only been charged the
|
|
|
sixteen dollars, so, Nexgrill once again passed with Kudos for my latest
|
|
|
replacement parts of my grill! Despite the slight potential problem by
|
|
|
one "innate" supervisor....

|

Once again - in my personal opinion (based on my own experiences dealing
|
|
|
with Grill Services on three separate occasions) Nexgrill has performed
|
|
|
quite nicely in getting me replacement parts in a timely fashion with
|
|
|
minimal shipping charges (though I'd prefer to have shipping FREE)!

Hey - I think I've got enough grates now to go into the "Grill Grate

Retail Business"!

UPDATE: I just went out and checked the new (just shipped) grates to see
|
|
|
just what they did to "totally improve" the grates. Seeing no "visual"
|
|
|
differences", I brought out my trusty magnet. Lo and Behold! The magnet
|
|
|
DOES NOT STICK to the new grates!!! Apparently we now have SOLID 304
|
|
|
Stainless Steel Grates! Whoopee!!! Nexgrill - you go to the head of my
|
|
|
class! I like the way you do business!
|
|
|
So - my plan is to use the newer Solid Grates for over my Searing Unit,
|
|
|
and utilize the clad grates over my mains (where they are not subjected
|
|
|
to the extreme heat). Given the fact that my two grates over the mains
|
|
|
are still in "like new" condition, and the searing grate crashed and
|
|
|
burned after two years, I should be set for a minimum of at least TEN
|
|
|
YEARS or MORE - at least with the cooking grates! Gotta love the
|
|
|
Nexgrill products (at least those produced prior to the 2008 production
|
|
|
year - mine is a '07 model)!

I wanted to post pics of the newer grates, but all my Compact Discs are

|
|
at home and I'm now at the shop... Camera is here, but no disc. HTH
