In light of our last computer discussion I thought I would post a few
Nineties? Sheesh, I don't even have CD in my car. I'm still stuck with
tips for Mac users:
cassette tape, not that I have any to play. I may as well just regrow
(1) A program is hanging with the "wheel" spinning:
the mullet and buy myself an IROC

Command-Option-Escape forces the program to quit.
I feel so bad for you and your car. Maybe we'll all have to get you a

(2) Now your RAM has boggled crapy instruction residing in it you Zap

new one for Xmas. Ask beocx. He's the one with all the c-notes... Unless

the PRAM (cleanse the memory) go to restart and select it, as soon as
sinkos mom used them all up at bingo.

the screen goes blank select and hold Command-Option-P-R, do not release

I have a six disc changer built in my F150. But I rarely use it. My iPod

streams through my Bose 16 speaker system wirelessly by tuning the FM

keys, the RAM is now clear of any illegal instruction, it was holding in
radio station to something like 84.5. Works like a charm - better than
memory that caused the crash, be it clicking on something 90 times to
XRadio! Over 12,000 songs and 15 hours of Lewis Black comedy gets me
trying to get it to respond, or any number of corrupt instructions.
through every trip in my Ford truck! I love new technology. Just wish I

(3) Take a snap shot of your entire desktop Command-Shift-3 you will
had an integral dock rather than the clunky "aftermarket" device I use
hear a camera shutter sound, and on your desk top will be a PNG file you
through my powered 12v socket.
can open that in preview and "Save As" a JPEG and share it with the

(4) Take a snap shot of something you have on your screen

I'm trying to install a pirated copy of windows 7, that I got from the
Command-Shift-4 you will see your mouse turn to cross hairs, slide it up
USPS that was addressed to someone in Yuma, on my tandy and I can't seem
to where you'd like to start the "pic" and click and hold the mouse and
to get it to take. I was using the serial number beocx and it keeps
draw a box around the area, release the mouse and you will hear a camera
saying it needs to be kept under 41 degrees or it can't be used... Any

shutter sound, and on your desk top will be a PNG file you can open that

Your program simplifies what I do with screenshot. I have to take the

shot, then use PS to save it in whatever format I wish (jpeg, tiff,

Meanwhile - looking at your "printshot", I see we share another common

interest! Coldplay! See my "screenshot" here of one of my iTunes
