I have a question I hope someone can Xenp: I have the Ducane 5 burner
the "free" call to Weber/Ducane got me what seemed to be a young woman

who's only suggestion was that I "clean my grill" in what I might add

back panel above the grates, so last night I have a chicken on the

was 106 degree weather on my patio, I didn't feel the need for a

read through many post's on this website and noticed that you've seemed

glowing, so i relight it and watch it for 5-10 minutes close the lid
to offer more assistance than just your favorite bbq sauce recipe, but
come back in 10 minutes and it's off again A: does anyone know what's
by not posting a response to my first post I can only assume you didn't
wrong? and B: it's under warranty with Ducane/Webber so what part would
have any knowledge in this area(but by your comment am i to assume you
I be asking for? or C: just tell there tech the problem and go from
knew the answer but just didn't want to tell me, cause thats what it

there, and I don't know if they charge for shipping so I'd like to get

it right the first time.....Oh and there was ZERO wind on the patio so I

you I didn't expect my "Flip Comments" to all of a sudden have you

Sorry you didn't get a response as quickly as you would have liked...

Around the end of July this year - I also had issues with my Rotisserie
Burner. It would not light and found that the Ignitor box "common" rod
had fallen off. I contacted Webber/Ducane, and they sent out a
replacement Ignitor Box along with the "D" Washer. The "D" Washer is to
allow the pushing of the control knob to not be restricted by the front
panel (i.e. allowing the knob to stay out enough and not flush with the
front panel surface when igniting). I replaced the Igniter Box as well
as added the "D" washer, and still was unable to keep the Rotisserie
Burner on for more than 3 minutes (it was also a very very low flame
when it was on). I took apart the rear gas line hookup to the IR Burner
from the back of the grill and used a small wire and cleaned out the
orifice from the gas line and all was put back and is now working 100%.
Also - Webber was able to get these parts shipped out from the Mainland
to Hawaii in record time (it took only 2 days after my call to get these
parts - truly awesome!!).
