  Jim,
Sorry you didn't get a response as quickly as you would have liked...
Around the end of July this year - I also had issues with my Rotisserie
Burner. It would not light and found that the Ignitor box "common" rod
had fallen off. I contacted Webber/Ducane, and they sent out a
replacement Ignitor Box along with the "D" Washer. The "D" Washer is to
allow the pushing of the control knob to not be restricted by the front
panel (i.e. allowing the knob to stay out enough and not flush with the
front panel surface when igniting). I replaced the Igniter Box as well
as added the "D" washer, and still was unable to keep the Rotisserie
Burner on for more than 3 minutes (it was also a very very low flame
when it was on). I took apart the rear gas line hookup to the IR Burner
from the back of the grill and used a small wire and cleaned out the
orifice from the gas line and all was put back and is now working 100%.
Also - Webber was able to get these parts shipped out from the Mainland
to Hawaii in record time (it took only 2 days after my call to get these
  parts - truly awesome!!).
